Privacy Policy for PixelPlay Arcade
Effective Date: January 23, 2026 | Terms of Service
This privacy policy governs your use of the software application PixelPlay Arcade ("Application") for mobile devices. The Application is a "Feed-based Arcade" experience designed to provide local gaming entertainment.
1. Data Collection and Usage
We believe in radical data transparency. The Application collects minimal data necessary to function, monetize, and improve:
- Device Identifiers: We may collect your Advertising ID (AAID) and Android ID to facilitate advertisement delivery and frequency capping via Google AdMob.
- Usage Data: We track high scores, game unlocks, and session durations. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Crash Reporting: In the event of an error, technical logs may be collected by Google Play Services to help us improve stability.
Note: We do NOT collect your name, email address, physical location, or contact list.
2. Third-Party Services (Mandatory Disclosure)
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
- Google AdMob: Used for displaying advertisements. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to show personalized ads.
- Google Play Services: Required for core app functionality and security.
3. GDPR, CCPA, and User Consent
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and California, we utilize the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage your consent for data collection and personalized advertising.
You can revoke or change your consent at any time through the "Privacy Options" found in the Application's Menu.
4. Children's Privacy & Families Policy
PixelPlay Arcade is designed for a general audience. We utilize a Neutral Age Gate to identify user age. For users identified as under 13, we automatically:
- Disable personalized advertising and tracking.
- Set the maximum ad content rating to "G" (General Audience).
- Enable "Child-Directed Treatment" flags in accordance with the Google Play Families Policy.
If you are a parent and believe your child has circumvented these protections, please contact us via the Google Play Store support link.
5. Data Retention
Game data (high scores, preferences) is stored locally on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the application or clearing app data. Advertising-related data managed by Google AdMob is subject to Google's data retention policies.
6. Contact Us
If you have questions regarding privacy while using the Application, please reach out via our support channel on the Google Play Store or visit our official privacy page.
