Privacy Policy for MeasureME

1. Who We Are

MeasureME (the “App”) is an Android measurement, conversion, calculation and time-planning utility provided by Latent Divergence Studios (“we”, “us” or “our”). This policy explains how the App accesses, stores and shares information. Privacy enquiries may be sent to privacy@latentdivergence.com.

2. Local App Data

No MeasureME account is created. The App stores onboarding status, saved calculations, favourites, world-time workspaces and the accumulated advertising interval in app-private storage on your device. This information is used only to provide the features you request. Android backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for MeasureME.

MeasureME does not send your questions, calculation history, saved locations, sensor readings or AR measurements to a Latent Divergence Studios server.

3. Camera, AR and Device Sensors

• Camera: Camera permission is requested only when you choose AR Measure. Camera frames are processed live by Google Play Services for AR to identify surfaces and track device position. MeasureME does not save or upload those frames.
• AR data: Detected surfaces, anchors and device poses are used while AR Measure is open. Completed AR measurements are not retained unless a future version clearly offers and you choose a save function.
• Sensors: Accelerometer, gravity, magnetic-field, gyroscope, pressure and ambient-light readings may be processed live for supported tools. MeasureME does not transmit or retain these readings.

Hardware-dependent tools are shown only when the necessary device capability is available. Camera access can be denied or revoked through Android settings.

4. Advertising, Consent and Third-Party Processing

MeasureME is ad-supported and uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, device settings and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may access or process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, approximate location derived from network information, consent signals, diagnostics and ad interaction data. They use this information to provide, limit, secure, measure and, where permitted, personalise advertising.

Where required, Google’s consent interface is presented before ads are requested. Eligible users can review available choices through Settings > Ad privacy choices. An interstitial becomes eligible only after 15 minutes of accumulated foreground use and may be presented only at a user-initiated top-level navigation break. Each later opportunity requires another 15 minutes.

5. Network Access and Sharing

Internet and network-state access are used for Google consent and advertising services, Google Play Services for AR availability or installation, and website links you choose to open. Core calculations, conversions and saved history do not require a network connection.

We do not sell personal information. MeasureME shares no locally saved calculation or workspace data with us. Information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners for the purposes described above.

6. Retention and Deletion

Saved results and world-time workspaces remain on your device until you delete individual entries, use Settings > Delete saved data, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. The in-app delete command permanently removes saved results and workspaces from that installation. Because no account or Latent Divergence cloud record is created, there is no server-side MeasureME account to delete.

Advertising and consent information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s policies and your available privacy controls.

7. Security and International Processing

Local data is held in Android app-private storage and excluded from Android backup. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Google and its partners may process advertising-related information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

8. Children’s Privacy

MeasureME is a general-audience utility and is not designed for or directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create profiles of children or collect personal information from children through a MeasureME account. Do not use the App where local law requires parental consent that has not been provided.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can decline or revoke camera permission, delete locally saved data, clear App storage, uninstall the App, and review Google-provided ad privacy choices where available. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding information processed by third parties. Contact the relevant provider for data it controls, or contact us if you have a MeasureME privacy question.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the App, third-party services or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated in the App where required.
