Terms of Service for LatentSound

1. Acceptance
By using LatentSound ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What LatentSound Is
LatentSound is a local-first music creation tool developed by Latent Divergence. It requires no account. Your creative work stays on your device; the app is supported by occasional full-screen ads served by Google AdMob (see the Privacy Policy for details and your consent choices).
3. Your Content
You own everything you create with LatentSound. Recordings, compositions, and exports are yours, including for commercial use. The app's built-in instrument and drum sounds are synthesized and royalty-free; music you make with them is yours.
4. Imported Material
You are responsible for the audio you import. Only import audio you own or are licensed to use. Importing does not grant you rights you did not already have, and LatentSound cannot detect or police infringement on your behalf.
5. Acceptable Use
Do not use LatentSound to infringe others' rights, or attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law or an applicable open-source license.
6. No Warranty
LatentSound is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latent Divergence is not liable for lost recordings, lost projects, or any indirect or consequential damages. Back up work that matters to you — exports can be shared off-device at any time.
7. Changes to the App or Terms
Features may change between versions. Material changes to these terms will be posted at this address and announced in the app, and take effect only for versions that include them.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
