Terms of Service for CopyLayer

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CopyLayer ("the App"), developed by Latent Divergence Studios, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CopyLayer is a local-first AI prompt management tool for Android that allows you to manage text prompts, access them quickly from any app using a floating overlay, and test them with third-party AI services.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 API Keys

You are solely responsible for securing and managing your own API keys for AI services (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or others). Latent Divergence Studios is not responsible for any charges or policy violations with third-party providers.

3.2 Content

You retain full ownership of the prompts and content you create. You agree not to use the App to generate illegal or harmful content.

3.3 Accessibility Service

The optional Auto-Paste feature is used at your own discretion. It requires careful configuration and responsibility when pasting into other applications.

4. Intellectual Property

CopyLayer and its original content, features, and game mechanics are owned by Latent Divergence Studios. You retain all rights to your own content created within the App.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR UNINTENDED AI-GENERATED CONTENT. YOUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY).

6. Data and Termination

All data is stored locally. We are not responsible for data loss from device failure or app uninstallation. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
