Overview

Overlevel Me ("the App") is a gamified learning application that runs primarily on-device. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Collection

Information You Provide

• Topics of interest: You select which subjects you want to learn about.
• Age: You may optionally provide your age for content filtering.
• Learning progress: Your reading history, quiz results, XP, streaks, and achievements are stored locally on your device.

Automatically Collected Information

• Crash reports: If you opt in, Firebase Crashlytics collects crash diagnostics (device model, OS version, crash stack trace) to help us fix bugs. No personal identifiers are collected.
• Ad identifiers: Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.

What We DO NOT Collect

• Email addresses, names, or account credentials
• Location data
• Contacts or messages
• Photos, camera, or microphone data
• Browsing history outside the App
• Personal identifiers of any kind

How Your Data Is Used

• Learning progress data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Crash reports are sent to Firebase Crashlytics solely for the purpose of diagnosing and fixing application errors.
• Ad serving uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device advertising IDs in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Security

All learning data (progress, preferences, saved cards, quiz results) is stored locally on your device using Android's internal storage. You can export or delete this data at any time through the App's Settings menu.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: Used for advertising. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Used for crash reporting. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
• On-Device AI Model: The App includes a local language model (~4GB) that runs entirely on your device. No data is sent to external AI services.

Your Rights

• You can export all your data at any time via Settings → Export Profile.
• You can delete all local data via Settings → Reset All Progress.
• You can opt out of ad personalization in your Android device settings.
• You can uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

The App is designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
